Top 3 disrespectful things people have said about Jesus Christ

Unfortunately, the fact that Christ is a big deal to Christians and others has not prevented people from saying crazy things about Him.

Jesus Christ is undoubtedly one of the biggest figures in religion.

Christians revere Him because they see Him as the Son of God (Matthew 3:17), while Muslims call him Prophet Isa. Even those who refuse to see Him as a supernatural being still accord Him some respect.

Christians believe that God loved the world so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on our behalf (John 3:16)  (endoftheage)

With this being the case, you can imagine how surprised I was when I discovered that there are people who make up crazy things about Him.

Here is a list of the ones I have heard so far:

1. He is gay: I heard this for the first time a few days ago and almost fell out of my seat. To my surprise, there are people are who speculate that Christ may have been homosexual. This is based on the fact that He had only men as disciples and that He is always in their company.

2. He is just a man: Christianity is founded upon the belief that Christ is the Son of God who came to die for our sins. Shockingly, there are people who don't agree with this. To these people, Christ is just a Man who ‘managed to gain some popularity in His time.’ Wow.

3. He dated Mary Magdalene: There are two sides to this. Apparently, people have said that he dated and married Mary Magdalene. While others say she was simply his side chick.
