FC Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have agreed on the transfer of Colombian national player James Rodriguez to the German championship on Tuesday. The two clubs agreed on a two-year loan deal until June 30, 2019 with the following purchase option for FC Bayern Munich. James Rodriguez will sign his contract in Munich after successfully completing the compulsory medical check.
The 25-year-old midfielder scored six goals in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, then moved from AS Monaco to Real Madrid. In the last three years, he has won the UEFA Champions League twice, the FIFA Club World Cup and the Spanish Championship twice. In total, he played 111 games for Real, scored 36 goals and assisted 41 goals.
