NYSC decree: Senate remove from the Constitution

Senate has approved the removal of the National Youth Service Scheme Decree from the Nigerian constitution.

The purpose of the removal is to enables for easy amendment, wherever it becomes necessary.

The senators at plenary on Tuesday unanimously voted that the decree be deleted from the constitution.

Also, two other decrees that were voted out of the constitution include; Public Complaint Commission and State Independent Electoral Commission Decrees.
