Nigerian Jollof is a national treasure
We make the best Jollof in the whole world
A Jollof Festival was held in Washington DC, and a Jollof competition was one of the events
Representatives from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Liberia. and Ghana competed for the title of ‘Best Jollof rice’ After that, about 600 people went through a blind tasting to decide the winner. The finalists presented their dishes to the judges who chose the winner based on presentation, originality and taste.
Nigeria won!
Atinuke Ogunsalu represented Nigeria and won the competition. She was rewarded with the sum of $1000 and a position of chef at Jollof Caviar, a restaurant launching in Washington in 2 years.
Now we can all agree without a doubt, that Nigerian Jollof is the ultimate
PSA: We won’t be participating in Jollof Wars with our friends in Ghana anymore, since the winner is now clear
