14 Struggles Every Person Who Has Tried A Diet Can Relate To
The process of trying to lose weight is one of the most painful journeys ever.
I mean it starts with a horrible feeling that you’ve not been healthy and now you want to shed off a few kilos. You start by telling everyone around you about your plans and you start off so well but suddenly everyone has a dinner or lunch plan that will ruin your digestive system for life.
But your worst enemy during this time could, in fact, be your mind and everything that goes through it during this time. You most likely understand these struggles especially if you have been trying to lose weight since January and now you’re trying to convince yourself that you can still get a six pack by December.
Here are the crazy thoughts that go through your head while trying to diet.
1. It starts with I need to be healthy talk and you’re happy about it then.

2. Your friends insist that it will only last a week but they support you by doing absolutely nothing.
3. Then you think about the last time you had vegetables and the fact that this will be your new lifestyle makes you upset.

4. The first few days you eat healthy and you think you look like Beyonce.
5. While you’re eating three healthy meals a day you end up thinking you’re starving yourself.

6. I should reward myself for being so healthy on the 7th day though you’re not even meant to have a cheat day.

7. Then you try justifying eating unhealthy by pretending that you don’t know potatoes are carbs.

8. Every food advert just leaves you in pain and dismay.

9. Suddenly you can’t stand the kales or the healthy eating and you’re sure it’s withdrawal symptoms.

10. Then you think of just going to your favorite fast food restaurant.
11. You know it will make you feel like crap.
12. But you go and pig out either way.
13. Then now you are filled with guilt and shame plus you feel fat again.
